Ongoing Class Descriptions

INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP - This orientation is a one-time workshop required for all students. Learn the what, how, and why of yoga at Yoga Way. Allow yourself to be guided through the direct experience of postures, breath, and relaxation techniques with a purpose.

COMPREHENSIVE PRACTICE - Focus is on developing a strong foundation–an exploration of form and function–on which to build a regular practice to purify body and mind.

CLASSICAL STRETCH - Postures are chosen with a concentration on opening and stretching the body. Form is held and the body is allowed to relax into the openings.

MEDITATION - Techniques are taught and applied in this experiential meditation offering. Learn ways to become still and the skills with which to stabilize the mind.

PRIVATE AND ADVANCED INSTRUCTION - are available upon request.
